MAYOR OF HIALEAH ESTEBAN BOVO, JR., THE CITY COUNCIL AND COMMUNITY LEADERS STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH FORMER PRESIDENT ÁLVARO URIBE VÉLEZ
Hialeah, FL – Mayor Esteban Bovo, Jr. and the City Council invite you to a press conference to denounce the political injustice against Former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez and demand due process in Colombia.
South Florida leaders in attendance will include, City of Doral Councilman Rafael Pineyros, Weston City Commissioner Fabio A. Andrade, Inspire America founder Marcel Felipe, Executive Director of Republican Mayor’s Association Helen Aguirre Ferré, as well as leaders from Colombia Habla US, Centro Democrático
These leaders will unite to call for justice as judicial authorities continue to deny President Uribe his fundamental legal rights under the rule of law. This event aims to raise awareness about the ongoing legal battle and express solidarity with those facing political persecution in the region.
South Florida is home to the largest Colombian community in the United States, many of whom are deeply concerned about the political injustice unfolding in their home country. This press conference will amplify the community’s unified voice in support of democracy, fairness, and respect for human rights.
